Well it’s my FIRST day home from California & I could not wait any longer to blog this incredible adventure engagement! This whole past week has been nothing short of excellent as I’ve taken in some incredible views with marvelous people. Between solo-adventuring the sunny beaches of Santa Monica, hiking & wine tasting with a good friend in the Spanish-centric town of Santa Barbara, and soaking in the laid-back atmosphere in a bamboo-saturated airbnb in Ojai, my heart is filled with killer memories. And one of my ABSOLUTE favorite memories from this trip was hanging out with these two love birds as we adventured through Vasquez Rocks. Nestled in the mountains of Los Padres National Forest just outside Santa Clarita, these jagged upward-pointing rock formations will take your breath away as you climb. Literally. LOL. Mikaela & Nico are two souls who are so full of joy & love for one another. It was such a delight to capture their love in this wonderful chapter of their lives and in this beautiful place they call home. And it was an extra special treat to have my cousin Christina join me out there & shoot alongside! We played with the never-ending sun-flares, danced around the layered rocks, and never stopped laughing for MANY reasons. Mikaela & Nico, thanks for being SO AWESOME & down to adventure!
