Coffee-Fueled Sunrise D.C. Cherry Blossom Engagement || Natalie & Sam
It’s fiiinally spring! Celebrating the entrance of spring’s warmth & vibrancy is what the D.C. cherry blossoms along the tidal basin were born to do. To beat all of the crowds, Natalie & Sam & I met up along the calm waters of the basin (coffee in-hand. because 6am.). We spent those pre-sunrise serendipitous moments quietly coffee-sipping, sitting on the stone wall, enjoying the view of the Washington Monument framed in pink blooms. Then as we walked to the Jefferson Memorial, the magenta-hued sunrays began peaking their way through the cascading branches for some epic-ly beautiful images. Natalie & Sam danced their way through the Jefferson columns and filled the open space with their full-of-life personalities. In this white marble canvas is where we captured that rad photo of Natalie’s different-colored eyes that are absolutely stunning. Spending the wee hours of sunrise with these two made me even more amped (which I didn’t know was possible) for their backyard wedding soirée in just a few short weeks!
