Rolling Hills Wyndridge Farm Wedding || Kat + Nick
“See you soon, Jones. I’ll be the one in the big white dress.” – Kat in her letter to Nick
THESE TWO. All I want to do is write in all capital letters. But I feel like you wouldn’t enjoy that, so I’ll oblige. I’ve been pumped about Kat & Nick’s wedding day for quite some time – ever since I first read Kat’s witty writing in her inquiry over a year ago. Kat & Nick are two hilarious, joyful & caring people who instantly make you crack up and fall in love with them. Their chill-ness reached an entire new level when the thunderstorms rolled in on their wedding day and the decision to hold the ceremony indoors or outdoors changed back and forth 4 or 5 times. Each time they smiled and shrugged because all that mattered was that they would be married & be surrounded by the people they loved. As the raindrops began to fall, Kat excitedly walked toward Nick for their first look with the rain sparkling amidst the rolling hills. Then they ran, they danced, and basically Mary-Poppins-ed it in the rain with ALL the laughter and joy of being together. I could absolutely write an entire novel (about the seemingly impossible merge of this die-hard Orioles groom & Yankee-loving bride // about their Sandlot-themed wedding cake // the wheat & wildflower symbol of their relationship // the pink strip of hair Kat’s grandmother dyed to match her pink dress) but seriously you just need to look at their wedding story in these photos. Warning, you’ll fall in love with them, too!
