Sea Glass Festival || Adventuring in St. Michaels, MD

 In Adventuring

On Saturday Hunter + I packed up our cameras + gloves to venture over to the Eastern Shore for the Sea Glass Festival in St. Michaels hosted by Ophiuroidea. The wind was a-howlin and we were even greeted with snow flurries during our road trip {it’s April for goodness sake!}. We started off the festival with a mocha scone {with a schmear of hardened chocolate deliciousness} and piping hot coffee, naturally. Artisans like Luke from Sea Found Studios gathered from all over to display and sell beautiful sea glass creations. We won’t mention who but we totally toted away with some sweet birthday gifts. I fell in love with a new local artisan store Paper Rock Scissors and hope you’ll enjoy discovering them, too! It also turns out the quiet nautical town of St. Michaels is home to a distillery, winery, and brewery – of which we distinctively sniffed out and toured. We met Ben and Jamie of Lyon Distilling Co. {I’d like to think we’ve made a great new pair of friends} and we love their local micro craft production. We think you’ll enjoy their personalities and photos below along with the rest of the pretty photos of the day!
