Philadelphia Family Portraits || The Smitleys
I’ve known Blake since 6th grade when he was my youth pastor in Pennsylvania.
I haven’t seen him since he relocated, got married and had two children. And in those same years I went to college, got married, and moved to Annapolis. Needless to say, when he asked to do a family portrait session, I was thrilled to reconnect! This session was a gift to his wife Claire’s father for his birthday – such a great idea. So I traveled into inner Philly, successfully parallel parked Hunter’s long car, and rolled up to their home that literally overlooks the Philadelphia Art Museum. So neat. With these two adorable children there was plenty of energy bouncing around and it made it so much fun to capture the kindred moments. My favorite photos are the ones on the couch with Claire’s parents reading to their grandchildren. It’s those priceless, everyday moments that I live to capture. Enjoy!
